General Ordering Information

Accessing the New Store

If you are accessing the new and improved store for the first time, you will need to register. To do so, please click on “Login” in the upper right-hand corner of the page and follow the prompts under ‘New User Registration’.

Return Policy

In the event that a credit/refund is owed to the purchaser, we can not issue partial refunds back to the credit card that was used for purchase. Either the entire order can be cancelled and refunded back to the card (and the purchaser can place a completely new order), or a partial refund can be issued in the form of a gift certificate which can be added to the purchaser’s online store account and be used as a credit towards a future purchase.

Jack Nadel International cannot accept returns unless the item received is incorrect or damaged. Please Contact Us if you have any issues with your delivery and we will work with you to find a solution.

Ordering Large Quantities

If you need to purchase 50+ items for an upcoming event or other engagement, please enter your information into the Bulk or Custom Inquiries form to place a custom order.  We will work with you to ensure that the purchase is completed in an efficient, price effective manner.

Custom Orders

If you don’t see an item that meets your needs or if you are purchasing 50+ items, please enter your information into the Bulk or Custom Inquiries form to place a custom order.  The JNI team will work with you to ensure that the purchase is completed in an efficient, price effective manner.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are great ways to show appreciation to your fellow Perkins Coie team members. To purchase gift certificates, please click here. If you are purchasing 20+ gift certificates, please enter your request into the Bulk or Custom Inquiries form and a member of the JNI team will assist you. Please note that our store is for internal use only, therefore gift certificates may only be given to Perkins Coie personnel.

Ordering Items for Personal Use

You are welcome to purchase items for your personal use! Please use your personal credit card, not a corporate credit card, for any of your personal purchases.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery

Items in the store show quantity on hand. These items will be shipped within 1-2 business days from receipt of order if in stock. If not in stock, it may take 7-10 days (or more, depending on the item) for production plus shipping time. All items are shipped via UPS unless otherwise stated. UPS cannot ship to post office boxes or to APO/FPO addresses and does not deliver on Saturday unless this service is requested and confirmed with customer service.

Rush Orders

For customers who require faster delivery, you may choose one of the rush shipping options at checkout. Additional charges may apply based on expedited shipping and handling and will be added to your order.

Direct to Office Shipping Alternative

We are now offering free shipping to Perkins Coie offices on a monthly basis. In order to utilize this option, please select "Bulk Monthly Perkins Coie Office - Office Name" as your shipping address. Orders placed by the 25th of each month will be received at the beginning of the following month. Orders received after the 25th will be part of the next shipment.

Type of Payments Accepted

All purchases must be made with credit card.  Purchases can be made using your personal credit card or corporate credit card and business-related purchases should be expensed. Please note, business-related purchases should be approved by your Business Manager or Marketing Manager prior to purchasing.

Expensing Business-Related Purchases

There are typically three categories of G/L charges:

   Practice Group: These are items purchased on behalf of attorneys and/or their support staff for clients/prospects. Approval is needed from the relevant Business Manager.

   Industry Group: These are items purchased for specific industry related initiatives.  Approval is needed from the relevant Industry Group Marketing Managers.

   Office: These are items purchased for local initiatives. Approval is needed from the relevant Office Marketing Manager. Please note that office stash orders should be charged to the relevant office and therefore should never be charged to HQ (090).

Sales Tax

The sales tax presented on the purchase page is an estimate based upon the shipped to address. All state and local sales taxes will be calculated and charged once the product is shipped. The total price shown in the store may be slightly lower than the total amount billed to your credit card.

Corporate Gifting

Swag vs. Gifting

For those who have perused the store in the past, you may have noticed that the focus was on swag, which we define as items that are typically low in price and are given out in high volumes (for example, at tradeshows).  While there are reasons for utilizing swag items, we also have found that thoughtful gifting can facilitate authentic connections with clients and prospects.  Gifting is defined as items that are typically over $50 per piece and are ordered with the recipient in mind.  We highly recommend including a personalized note with each gift and have included the ability to do so within the store. 

Personalized Note

When selecting a gift, you will be prompted to select a card and a thoughtful note.  The cards are then handwritten and included in the final package.  You may also choose to forgo the note from JNI and write one yourself if you are personally delivering the item.

Gifting Costs

Based on industry research, the acceptable range for a business gift is between $50 - $150. Gifts for C-Suite executives and gifts for major business or personal milestones are typically at the higher end. Gifting amount should also take into consideration any Corporate Gifting Limits (see below).

Corporate Gifting Limits and Guidelines

Because meaningful gifts are at a higher price point than general swag, it’s important to be mindful of corporate gifting limits. We recommend contacting all recipients before sending a gift and allowing them the option to make a donation to a charity if they are not allowed to accept the gift. In addition, any gifts should be approved by the Client Lead.  Please see our firm policy on Gifts to Clients here.

Please note that if the recipient must adhere to the Financial Industry Regulation Authority (FINRA), they must limit to $100. Rules can be found here.

Personalized Shipments

Holiday and End of Year Gifts

Please note that the firm does not reimburse lawyers for the cost of holiday and similar year-end gifts.  Additional information can be found in the firm manual here.
